This revolutionary relaxer leaves the hair silky-straight and infuses the hair with intense moisture, comfort and shine by adding 17 natural herbs and oils to the relaxer creme. Ingredients like rosemary, nettle, elder flower and jojoba have been combined in this unique recipe designed specifically for the delicate needs of chemically relaxed hair. The mixing of these 17 dry herbs into the relaxer creme immediately before applying delivers powerful nutrients to the hair during the process.
How to Achieve This Look:
Step 1: To begin, shampoo and condition relaxed tresses and mold wet hair into a wrap using setting lotion and styling gel. Sit under the dryer for approximately 45 - 60 minutes until hair is completely dry.
Step 2: Once the hair is dry, it is time to begin curling and styling this asymmetrical short cut. Before curling, apply African Pride Hair Skin and Scalp Oil to the hair to encourage sheen. Then use your fingers to shape the hair into the pattern of the style. Move the bang area forward and direct the crown of the hair upward.
Step 3: Starting in the crown section of the head spray with African Pride Miracle Oil Sheen and create spikes starting in the crown using a medium ceramic flat iron. Alternate the direction of the spikes and move throughout the crown of the hair. Once the top is complete, use a small ceramic iron to flat iron the side and very back of hair downward to give the hair a slight bend. Move to the front of the hair and, using a medium size ceramic iron, flat iron to straighten hair and create a fountain of fringe. Use your flat iron to give slight volume at the root of the hair.
Step 4: After all of the hair has been flat ironed, use the African Pride Magical Grow Herbal to mold spikes and add definition to the style. Achieve the piecey, shattered and disconnected look by flipping and spiking out a few odd ends with the ceramic iron. Finish off the look with a mist of African Pride Miracle Oil Sheen for added shine.
